About this item
- Compatible with a variety of spark plugs: The spark plug tester tool can test spark plugs with a diameter up to 13mm. If the spark plug is exactly 13mm, it will fit the tester's aperture perfectly. For plugs smaller than 13mm, there may be a slight gap between the tester and the aperture, but this will not impact the test results. For added stability, two limit washers can be used.
- Why must Buy Dual Holes: This spark plug tester has two spark plug sockets, you could test two spark plugs at the same time by comparing the spark intensity of them, you can know their performance and ignition intensity and judge which one is broken and replace it.
- Wide Testing Frequency: This engine ignition coil tester has testing frequency 0-6000 rpm, which can truly simulate the working conditions of the engine. The higher the frequency, the stronger the spark intensity, which means you can see the sparks more clear at the higher frequency. And in dark environments, you can see sparks more clearly. We do not recommend using this spark plug tester tool in a bright environment.
- For Long and Short Spark Plugs: (a) For long spark plugs, place shims on sockets before insert long spark plug into the tester socket to hold long spark plug firmly and connect the negative power supply on the socket. (b) For the short spark plug of lawn mowers, chainsaws, small motors, it doesn't matter if it can't be clamped by the base clamp in the case. As long as it can touch the metal clamp, the positive power supply can be connected. Then the spark plug can touch the socket to connect the negative power supply. Maybe the spark plug is tilted, but this does not affect the test. (c) The clamp on the base supplies positive power. And the socket supplies negative power.
- Widely Compatible with Vehicles and Easy to Use: This automotive ignition tester is widly compatible with 12V gasoline vehicles, including crankshaft engines and motorcycles. Easy to Use: insert spark plugs into the test holes of the spark plug tester, then rotate the frequency knob to observe the performance of the spark plugs at each frequency. Without professional car maintenance skills and expericences, you can test the spark plugs by youself in the home.
